Dr. Devora Reichman is a licensed psychologist with over thirteen years of experience. She employs psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and motivational approaches, as well as a harm-reduction framework for those exploring their relationship with substance use.
In her private practice, Dr. Reichman specializes in treating substance use, addiction, and co-occurring diagnoses. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship and Predoctoral Clinical Internship at The Addiction Institute at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center.
Dr. Reichman collaborates with patients to create individualized treatment plans that integrate practical problem-solving with deeper exploration of historical and current challenges. She provides a space for patients to uncover meaningful connections between feelings, thoughts, and actions, believing that change is most impactful when generated from a patient’s own insights.
Dr. Reichman works openly and curiously, empowering patients to become experts on themselves and develop healthier lifestyles. She views therapy as a place to explore and understand the connections between emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
