Kaitlyn Murphy, LMHC

Kaitlyn Murphy, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor and harm reduction psychotherapist with over a decade of experience treating adults, couples, and families. Her areas of expertise include substance misuse, co-occurring mental health, mood, and emotional disorders, as well as behavioral challenges and addiction-related issues. Kaitlyn is dedicated to fostering therapeutic relationships built on openness, honesty, and collaboration, empowering clients to achieve greater self-efficacy, understanding, personal development, and growth.

Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including person-focused psychodynamic, dialectical, motivational, schematic, and cognitive-behavioral techniques, Kaitlyn crafts compassionate, individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her extensive training and certifications in Integrative Harm Reduction Therapy (IHRP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Out of Control Sexual Behavior (OCSB), and Transformational Chairwork therapies inform her approach to both individual and group psychotherapy.

Before establishing her private practice, Kaitlyn served as a clinician at the Center for Optimal Living, a renowned harm reduction and substance use treatment center. She has also worked with the Addiction Institute at Mount Sinai-West (AIMS) and was the first female clinician to co-lead the Crystal Clear Project, a groundbreaking program addressing the specific challenges faced by gay men struggling with crystal methamphetamine use in treatment.

Jason Holloway, PsyD

Dr. Jason Holloway is a psychologist who provides individual and group therapy to adults of all ages. He specializes in working with members of the LGBTQ community, individuals with substance use concerns, older adults, and people living with chronic health issues, including HIV.

Dr. Holloway earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Widener University. Prior to establishing his private practice, he worked at the Peter Krueger Clinic at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel. He currently holds a faculty position at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine, where he contributes to the education and training of future mental health professionals.

In addition to his doctoral training, Dr. Holloway has completed post-graduate work in Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy and Motivational Interviewing. These approaches inform his therapeutic style, which emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and meeting clients where they are in their unique journey towards well-being.

Dr. Holloway’s diverse clinical experiences have equipped him with the skills and understanding necessary to support individuals navigating a wide range of life challenges. Alyssa Walsh, LMHC

Alyssa Walsh, MS, MHC, is the head of operations with the Collective and works to coordinate administrative and clinical efforts. In previous roles, she became intimately familiar with the benefits of the harm reduction psychotherapy model, particularly as it applies to substance use disorders. Her expertise in interacting with difficult-to-treat populations and coordinating care made her a vital asset to the team and now contributes to her role with the Collective.

Alyssa received a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan College and now, in addition to her role at the Collective, works with private practice clinicians in a support capacity through her company Harm Reduction Placement Services.

Eddie Einbinder, LCSW

Eddie Einbinder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Harm Reduction Psychotherapist. Eddie has worked in many clinical, educational, and community settings over his clinical career, and he specializes in helping young adults who have problematic relationships with drugs and struggle with mental health challenges.

In his private practice, Eddie works with adults, families, and couples, and facilitates four weekly harm reduction psychotherapy groups. He offers both remote and in person sessions in midtown Manhattan. Eddie’s approach centers on accepting and understanding the meaning and motivation behind a client’s behavior, and collaborating with clients to identify realistic strategies for achieving their goals.

In addition to his private practice, Eddie is an internationally recognized educator in the field in harm reduction and drug use. His body of work over the last twenty years has been presented through lectures, books and documentary films, and his work is geared toward youth and young adults. Additionally, Eddie conducts consultation and supervision for mental health professionals who work with young adults.

Born and raised in New York City, his interests in mental health and harm reduction started during high school at Horace Mann. He studied Psychology and Business at Lehigh University and later obtained his Master’s degree in Social Work at New York University, focusing on clinical work with individuals with substance use disorders and their families.

Eddie serves on the Board of Directors of Non-profit organizations in the industry, such as Moderation Management and Bronx Movil. He has been an active supporter of the Drug Policy Alliance, Harm Reduction Coalition, and more local operations for over fifteen years.

Devora Reichman, PsyD

Dr. Devora Reichman is a licensed psychologist with over thirteen years of experience. She employs psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and motivational approaches, as well as a harm-reduction framework for those exploring their relationship with substance use.

In her private practice, Dr. Reichman specializes in treating substance use, addiction, and co-occurring diagnoses. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship and Predoctoral Clinical Internship at The Addiction Institute at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center.

Dr. Reichman collaborates with patients to create individualized treatment plans that integrate practical problem-solving with deeper exploration of historical and current challenges. She provides a space for patients to uncover meaningful connections between feelings, thoughts, and actions, believing that change is most impactful when generated from a patient’s own insights.

Allison Mitchell, PhD

Dr. Mitchell is a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience helping patients navigate challenging life circumstances and process past trauma and childhood attachment failures. She utilizes Relational Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy, and trauma-focused interventions.

In her private practice, Dr. Mitchell works with individuals, couples, and groups. Kevin Braga, LCSW

Kevin Braga is a licensed clinical social worker providing individual and group psychotherapy to adults with a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges. He specializes in working with individuals struggling with high risk substance use, out of control sexual behaviors and other impulsive behaviors. He also helps clients with preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences including ketamine infusions. Hannah Salazar, LCSW

Hannah Salazar, LCSW, creates safe spaces for individuals navigating life’s complexities. She utilizes psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a harm reduction approach to substance use and trauma.

Based in midtown Manhattan, Hannah offers in-person sessions two days a week and telehealth throughout the week. She enjoys working with young adults, helping them find strength and resilience during this dynamic life phase. Hannah tailors her diverse therapeutic approaches to each clients’ unique needs.

Hannah aims to collaboratively explore her clients’ goals and build a roadmap for their well-being. She believes in the power of connection in healing and growth, and incorporates mindfulness to help clients stay present.

Adam Frankel, PhD

Dr. Adam Frankel is a supervising psychologist and clinical lecturer who provides individual and group psychotherapy to adults who struggle with mental health and substance use challenges. He specializes in working with individuals who struggle with high levels of anxiety, alcohol and cannabis misuse, and obsessive and compulsive behaviors including sports gambling and high-risk stock trading.

Dr. Frankel has offices in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. He integrates psychotherapies including insight-oriented (psychodynamic), parts-work (IFS and Chairwork), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and exposure therapy (ERP), and cognitive behavioral and dialectical approaches (CBT/DBT). He uses this integrated therapeutic framework approach to help those he works with gain a greater sense of agency in their lives through the development of active coping skills and self-understanding.

Moreover, he is skilled in motivational and behavioral psychotherapies (Motivational Interviewing and ACT) and trauma informed care, and he is EMDR-trained. He believes that having a well-rounded set of therapeutic skills facilitate the change process most effectively for the unique challenges of each client.

Dr. Frankel received his Ph.D. in psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. He completed his internship at Mt Sinai Medical Center and his post-doctoral fellowship at the Addiction Institute of New York at Mt. Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital. He is currently a teaching faculty at the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society and Training Program. Dr. Frankel presents nationally and internationally on integrated therapeutic treatment modalities. He is a clinical supervisor and teacher to advanced Ph.D. students in psychology and social work in the New York Metropolitan Area and San Francisco Bay Area.
